SECRET TRACES is a poetry collection that reminisces and tells the tale of a febrile summer love between an adventurous writer and an ill-fated accountant. Between broken glasses, empty bottles of rosé, and his adventures in his marital home, Secret Traces is an exploration of a love that could have been (or, once was).
The poems in Secrets are autofiction – inspired from true events – and seek to tell a story that is all too common in the queer world, yet still taboo.
This poetry book will be published by Spring 2024, and the pre-sale will launch before year’s end. It is the second of Stéphane-Robert’s Traces series of poetry, following Traces of Blue which was published in 2020.
